I meet up there for business and my surprise, I end up sitting down and eating at the table and the food was really good then I tried different things. Everything I ordered. I liked I’m very happy that service was really amazing. I only ordered a water and the service keep coming back and refill my water and it makes me feel that they do really care for their clients. I would definitely recommend that place to anyone in the patio. What’s amazing the people eating next to me had a really good vibe my overall five star keep it up.

The Olive Restobar in Downey serves tradition Mediterranean cuisine along with fusion dishes. The ingredients used are high quality. It's definitely an elevated dining experience. The tomato crostini is served on a grilled French baquette topped with mozzarella, tomato, artichoke hearts and basil pesto. Excellent appetizer bites. The falafel with house-made tahini is also a great choice. They have everything from filet mignon kabobs to grilled lamb chops and ribeye steaks. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They were able to answer my menu questions efficiently. The vibe is dope. Nice big full bar with crafted cocktails, wines and beer. The Lebanese mule is ! A must try if you want to have a crafted cocktail. The Happy hour menu has lots of options for both bites and drinks including $7 kabobs a lParking is plentiful. It's located in a large shopping center that has many other restaurants, bars, stores, etc.

great service! the servers really know the dishes and have great recommendation. the vibe is great and food was good. appetizers were my favorite, all were delicious! their seafood is really good, shrimp was amazing! and the green sayce they serve with their pita is SO good. we also got the queens tower kabob and the fries there were soo soft. the meats were seasoned and charred well. chicken came a bit dry and ribeye had few fatty parts but were cooked correctly. didnt like the pasta much though-didnt really taste anything special except for the shrimps. desserts were very good! crème brûlée wasnt crunchy enough but the custard was great! ricotta pistachio cheese cake was so light and fluffy and not your average cheesecake. and my favorite, the chocolate cake was sooo good and had a crunchy layer that made me remember ferrero rocher. pretty good restaurant! definitely worth a visit!

A pretty restaurant for kabobs and grills. I had the hanging kabob which was very nice. It’s called king & queen and it’s $49. The steak cooked medium was really juicy and tender. Chicken was just right and not dried out. The fries at the bottom was also perfect. Totally love this dish! They have cocktails and many other drinks too. Nice service. I saw people celebrating birthday here and the servers were singing such a fun birthday song.

Sat in the outdoor area, very nice and airy, while still feeling covered from bugs. You're here for the ambience, maybe not so much the food but it was good overall.. Ordered the two kabob lunch special for $24. Received the lamb and chicken along with rice pilaf and spicy hummus. The full meal overall is a 7.2/10. It is a good amount of food and the taste is good but not for the price. The chicken was well seasoned and cooked. One of the pieces was smaller so it came out more burnt and hard but no worries the lamb was soft but with a bit of chewiness. It had flavor but I'd try another meat if I go back. The rice pilaf was passable and the hummus was not authentic in any way. But you will enjoy the meal. The location is great and the water was ok, he failed to refill my water glass. But we still left a decent tip as the food arrived fast and it had a good temperature.

I really enjoyed the Kings Kabob which is ribeye steak. I was so impressed when they brought it out because it was bigger than I thought. Their fries are nice and seasoned. The Deviled Filet Mignon is pretty tangy and sweet. I also really enjoyed their Calamari. Their Tropical Lemonade was really good and love the presentation of it. I love the bar area of the restaurant because it elevates and brightens up the space so much and creates such a nice ambience especially for date night.

Food was amazing little bit on the pricey side, but it was good especially with the ambience what I did not like is the server coming up to ask if we wanted to try a a dessert that was made by their next-door neighbor (famous Dubai chocolate cup with strawberries) thinking we might just get a small bite of it to taste but instead they gave us the whole thing and charged us $17 for it so please let the guest know that if you’re gonna do that that it’s not for free that there is a price before we say yes

We went there for happy hour and the selection of specials was amazing! We started out with some drinks. The Hibiscus Margarita is wonderful - sweet, fruity, and had a lovely presentation. The Olive Sangria tasted good and beautifully presented, but we thought a red wine with less oak flavor would be better paired with the fruits. Fresh pita bread was presented warm and puffed up. It was so satisfying tearing open the bread with a rush of warm air as it deflated. Our first appetizer was Hummus with Beef Shawarma. We had it once before at another restaurant and loved the pairing. The hummus is light, creamy, and not too lemony. The beef shawarma was juicy and paired well with the hummus. Our second appetizer was Buttermilk Calamari. The batter was perfectly crispy and blistered. The calamari inside was so tender. Finally, we ordered up 4 kabobs a la carte. The lamb kabob was tender, juicy, and flavorful. Seasoning enhanced the flavor of the lamb and grilled to a perfect rare. The kafta kabob (one of my favorites to order at mediterranean restaurants) was juicy and flavorful. The filet mignon kabob was tender, flavorful, and grilled to a perfect rare. The salmon kabob was succulent, flavorful, and gives “surf and turf” appeal. Service was amazing. The manager and service staff made us feel welcome and were so friendly.
